June 6 - LEWT/NCWT Demo

Live stream with Zoom from Mike Mahoney's shop. Mike will cover multiple topics including helpful hints and tricks, Bowl coring, thread chasing,  quarter sawn oak platters, how I make a bowl, hollow forms and urns,  shear scraping, Tool design and grinding, wood finishes for woodturners,  hollow peppermills, and a drinking cup.


The demo will start at 9am. Club members will receive an email with directions on how to connect to this demo.

June 20 - Meeting

July 11, 12 - Hat Turning Demo

Ron Tomasch will be making a cowboy hat at The Barn of Carvings by Chris.  See the Events page for the time and location.  This is a free demo open to the public.

WELCOME

We are a new woodturning club in the Lake & Ashtabula County area. Anyone is welcome to attend and bring any of your friends that might be interested in woodturning. We welcome both male & female, new and experienced woodturners.

Our Process

Become part of a growing woodturning club and learn from some of the best turners in the world. We meet on the 3rd Saturday of every month. We also offer LET, (less experienced turners) classes immediately following our regular scheduled meetings. Check the "Events Tab" at the top of this page to see our calendar of events and location of the meeting.
